In its sixth version, Sierra Gorda SCM invites the inhabitants of Sierra Gorda and Baquedano to participate in its successful Community Trainee Program, an initiative that has been implemented since 2016 and has allowed 57 residents of the commune to enter the mining sector.

In a symbolic ceremony for the delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), 193 fourth-year students from the Don Bosco Industrial Technical College, co-founded by the Association of Industrialists of Antofagasta, kicked off the "Best Technicians for Industry 2024" program, promoted by Sierra Gorda SCM.
